GERMAN ADVANCED BEGINNER

This Level 2 course is for people who recently completed a beginner course or have basic knowledge of German including the present tense and accusative case.

Together, we'll cover:

  • forming the present perfect and simple past tenses
  • further study of the accusative case
  • the dative case
  • use of prepositions
  • irregular verbs

Classes will also include pair work, student presentations, and conversation practice related to real-life situations such as shopping and traveling.

About the teacher

David Koch is a native of Berlin with several years' experience teaching German, including at Hunter College and Tribeca Language.

David is also a trained social worker and worked with Lou Reed to translate his poems and songs into German.

About our classes

Class size is limited to 12 students. Classes sell out fast, and availability is first-come, first-served.

There are no make-up classes. You will receive a syllabus so you can keep up if you have to miss a class.
