This intro course is for absolute beginners or people who studied Spanish years ago but need to brush up on the basics. Together, we'll cover:

  • pronunciation and syntax
  • talking about the present and near future
  • basic grammar including articles, gender, plurals and prepositions

Each lesson also includes in-class conversation practice about real-life situations such as talking about work, home, family, likes and dislikes, asking directions, and ordering in a restaurant.

About the teacher

Sami Buccella is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina and has several years' experience teaching music and Spanish to kids and adults.

Sami has also toured the world playing bass with various bands and composed soundtracks for award-winning films.

About our classes

Class size is limited to 12 students. Classes sell out fast, and availability is first-come, first-served.

There are no make-up classes. You will receive a syllabus so you can keep up if you have to miss a class.

To cancel your registration, you must contact Idlewild at least 7 days before the start date to receive a refund.
