Our Level 4 course is for students who are fairly conversant in the present, past, and future tenses. This course immerses students in French using a multi-media approach including music, film, news articles and essays, and student presentations. This class is intended for people who have completed our regular intermediate course or a similar course elsewhere.

This class is conducted entirely in French, and is intended for students who know the grammar pretty well and can speak and understand at a fairly high level, even if they make some mistakes.

About the teacher

Faustine Lefevre is a native of France and has more than 10 years' experience teaching French to Americans. Faustine is also an actress and TV producer.

About our classes

Class size is limited to 12 students. Classes sell out fast, and availability is first-come, first-served.

There are no make-up classes. You will receive a syllabus so you can keep up if you have to miss a class.

To cancel your registration, you must contact Idlewild at least 7 days before the start date to receive a refund.

To postpone your registration, you must contact Idlewild at least 3 days before the start date to receive a credit.
