This Level 5 course will focus on the advanced study of conversational Spanish, focusing on phrases, colloquialisms and structures commonly used in everyday situations.

Advanced vocabulary and grammar will be integrated throughout the course, and emphasis will be given to advanced verbal communication and fluency.

Students should already have a general knowledge of most tenses in the Spanish language, including those in the subjunctive mood.

About the teacher

Juan Vallejo is a native of Colombia, with more than 25 years' teaching experience, including 12 years at Idlewild.

Juan is also an award-winning documentary film maker.

Class size is limited to 12 students. Classes sell out fast, and availability is first-come, first-served.

There are no make-up classes. You will receive a syllabus so you can keep up if you have to miss a class.
