This intro course is for absolute beginners or people who studied Spanish years ago but need to brush up on the basics. Together, we'll cover:

  • pronunciation and syntax
  • talking about the present and near future
  • basic grammar including articles, gender, plurals and prepositions

Each lesson also includes in-class conversation practice about real-life situations such as talking about work, home, family, likes and dislikes, asking directions, and ordering in a restaurant.

This is an online class, conducted via Zoom.

About the teacher

Andrés Giraldo is from Bogotá, Colombia, and has taught Spanish to English speakers for 12 years, in both Melbourne, Australia and New York City.

Andrés is also a sound engineer and a music composer for TV commercials.

About our classes

Class size is limited to 12 students. Classes sell out fast, and availability is first-come, first-served.

There are no make-up classes. You will receive a syllabus so you can keep up if you have to miss a class.
