Our Level 3 course is for students who are familiar with the basics of French grammar and are fairly conversant in the present, past, and future tenses.

Together, we'll focus on enhancing fluency and studying advanced grammar including:

  • the present and past conditional tenses
  • gerunds, participles, and relative clauses
  • the present indicative vs the present progressive
  • introduction to the subjunctive

Each week's lesson includes in-class conversation practice, based on topics students prepare in advance.

François Marie is a native of Provence, France and has more than 10 years' experience teaching French in New York.

About our classes

Class size is limited to 12 students. Classes sell out fast, and availability is first-come, first-served.

There are no make-up classes. You will receive a syllabus so you can keep up if you have to miss a class.
